St. Louis, MO (January 24, 2007) – Anheuser-Busch Inc. has retained St. Louis-based Schneider Industries to manage the sales of its surplus equipment on a global basis.
Bruce Schneider, President of Schneider Industries, said the annual sale of used Anheuser-Busch equipment should exceed $1,000,000.00. Items for sale will include brewery processing and packaging equipment, rice milling equipment, vehicles and even a Jumbotron video unit from Anheuser-Busch Inc., owned by Sea World in San Diego, California. Anheuser-Busch, the nation’s largest recycler, would rather sell their surplus equipment at fair market value than scrap or throw away the assets. Anheuser-Busch has over 40 facilities in different endeavors throughout the world.
Schneider Industries will utilize numerous platforms in order to sell the assets including on line auctions, on site auctions, and private treaty sales. Schneider Industries will inventory the items and post photos of all assets to be viewed at www.schneiderind.com.
